Dance & Movement Classes for Adults

Flux & Flow is a program that offers classes strictly for adults. Flux & Flow classes promote joy of movement, healthy bodies and ease of movement for every age and stage in life.

Classes are designed to:

  • Increase overall mobility, flexibility, balance & strength in all aspects of life

  • Move your body in new ways, get your heart pumping and your sweat on

  • Challenge your mind and body with engaging choreography that changes every two weeks learning a total of three choreographies per class in a six week session

Video Vixens

Tuesdays 7:00 - 8:00 pm

This class is a vibrant fusion of jazz and hip-hop, think funk jazz with a sassy twist. The focus is on developing style over technique and the joy of moving to great music. Learn to carry yourself with the confidence of a video superstar.

  • Recommend jazz shoes or comfy clean sole sneakers

  • No experience required, all levels welcome

Lovely Lengthened Lines

Tuesdays 8:00 - 9:00 pm

Lovely Lengthened Lines is a unique blend of the timeless elegance of ballet and the expressive fluidity of lyrical dance. Starts with a ballet barre, center work and a lyrical combination. While traditional ballet forms the foundation, the music is anything but conventional & will inspire your body to move.

  • Recommended ballet shoes or Apollo Dance Socks

  • Experience recommended

emotion in motion

Wednesdays 7:30 - 9:00 pm

A 1.5 hour contemporary class that incorporates elements of jazz, ballet, modern & hip-hop dance forms with a focus on breath, self-expression, balance and body mobility. Emotion in Motion is designed to let dancers tell a story through a combination of music, lyrics and choreography.

  • Recommended footwear Apolla Dance Sock (alpha half sole) or Footed

  • Experience Highly Recommended

tap fit groove

Thursdays 7:00 - 8:00 pm

Tap Fit Groove is a tap class full of energy, great music, rhythm and gets your heart pumping while having a great time. Learning fun choreography that challenges your body and mind. You will be grooving, sweating, smiling, tapping your toes and moving your body.

  • Tap Shoes Required

  • Beginning & Intermediate Level

  • Some Experience Recommended

latin Vibes jazz

Thursdays 8:00 - 9:00 pm

This high-energy jazz class incorporates movements from Salsa and Perrier, yet is rooted in jazz dance. Perreo is a Puerto Rican dance form linked to reggaeton that carries Jamaican and Caribbean influences. Latin Vibes Jazz is a spicy and impactful class that will set your body and hips in motion.

  • Recommended jazz shoes or Apolla dance socks

  • Experience Highly Recommended

line dance

Coming soon

A six week series where participants will learn a series of choreographed dances associated with specific songs in the styles of pop, country, disco and more. Examples of popular line dances are associated with songs like “Electric Boogie”, “Macarena”, “Electric Slide”, “Cuban Shuffle”, “Cha-Cha Slide”, “Cotton Eyed-Joe” and more. It’s a great form of exercise for adult social dancing.
